About Me

I am a laboratory quality and operations professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in petrochemical, environmental, and industrial laboratory operations across the Middle East. Throughout my career, I have been committed to delivering analytical excellence, maintaining the highest standards of laboratory quality, and supporting safe and efficient industrial operations through reliable scientific data and technical leadership.

Currently, I serve as a Shift Chemist, leading laboratory operations in a continuous manufacturing environment. My responsibilities include supervising multidisciplinary laboratory teams, coordinating analytical activities, reviewing and validating analytical results, managing laboratory resources, and ensuring uninterrupted laboratory support for production, utilities, environmental monitoring, and product quality assurance.

My technical expertise spans a wide range of advanced analytical instrumentation, including Gas Chromatography (GC-MS, GC-FID, GC-TCD, GC-PFPD, GC-PDHID), ICP-OES, FTIR Spectroscopy, Ion Chromatography, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, Karl Fischer Titration, TOC, COD, and BOD analysis. I have extensive experience applying internationally recognized analytical methods, laboratory information management systems (LIMS), calibration, method validation, measurement uncertainty, and quality assurance practices.

As a CQI-IRCA Certified Lead Auditor for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2015, I actively contribute to laboratory quality management systems, internal audits, accreditation readiness, technical compliance, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), root cause analysis (RCA), proficiency testing, and continual improvement initiatives. My goal is to ensure that laboratory operations consistently meet international standards for technical competence, accuracy, and reliability.

In addition to my industrial responsibilities, I have developed a strong interest in applied research. My research focuses on petrochemical laboratory operations, analytical chemistry, laboratory quality management, Lean Six Sigma, laboratory digitalization, sustainable carbon materials, petroleum by-product valorization, and advanced analytical sciences. I have authored peer-reviewed publications in these areas and continue to pursue research that bridges industrial practice with scientific innovation.

Professional development has always been an important part of my career. Alongside my postgraduate education in Chemistry and Diploma in Petroleum Refining Engineering, I have earned professional certifications in laboratory quality management, lead auditing, Lean Six Sigma, measurement uncertainty, proficiency testing, and integrated management systems. These qualifications complement my practical experience and reinforce my commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
